"We wish Jordan were seven feet, but he isn't. There just wasn't a center available. What can you do? Jordan isn't going to turn this franchise around. I wouldn't ask him to. He's a very good offensive player, but not an overpowering offensive player." - Rod Thorn, then Bulls General Manager, after selecting Jordan with the third pick in the 1984 NBA draft.

He was moving the ball around, everybody just sucked tonight just as much as he did.

Like I been saying though, Wade needs to get it together. I don't know how the hell you're in a slump to START the season.

I wish the league pass free preview wasn't ending or else I'd be able to keep a running tab for the season.

He made some great plays today, but I really hate it when he does this. He used to ALWAYS be in control at the end of games. His greatest quality as a player no doubt. When the game would start to speed up, he'd be able to continue at his own pace. But for whatever reason, he has really, really, really forced things in crunch time since last year. Some nights it works, some nights it completely backfires. He needs to figure out how to limit this.

As long he doesn't average 27 shot attempts by the end of the season, i won't have any problems with him. He really need to work harder on his shooting though. Why doesn't he use the backboard like he used earlier in his career to make some of his jumpers? He used to be good at it, now he's acting like he can shoot anywhere on the court, man please! Even Kobe still uses the backboard.

Not using the backboard isn't the problem. The problem with his shot is that he currently has a terrible habit of fading away on every midrange jumper, whether if its called for or not.

This is something I've never seen before, but I picked up on it immediately in the first game and today was the worse. There's no way the team hasn't noticed this and that Wade isn't aware of it. Correcting this should be a top priority of the team.

So you didn't watch the game? He was constantly trying to do too much, he was out of control, he took a ton of bad shoots, and hurt the team more than he helped it.

That's what I refer to as "Kobe Mode". It's like when ur playing a pickup game and only need a basket to win. There are certain guys you know are going to shoot it every time they get the ball because they want prove their greatness. Its so predictable its disgusting. I'll also refer to this kinda play as "trying to be a hero".

Our superstar shouldn't have the same negative qualities as my 19 year old brother who has never played basketball above a recreational level.

Wade pulls up on three pointers now. That's one aspect of it. Before he would let the threes "come to him."
