true but Zo is 38 and Magloire is 30 with our run and gun roster we should trade Marion for a good defensive center who can rebound and block shots with some added scoring.I also hope this center is between the ages of 20-28. that can play with Wade and Beasley without having any ego issues a Player like a Ben Wallace would be great and the closest young buck that i see to that is Joey Dorsey off of Houston, but i would hope for someone taller.

IMO, I really don't think we need another center. We have an emerging hidden talent in Joel Anthony. Joel's style of play reminds me of Ben wallace. He plays great D, can block a couple of shots, and can occasionally put up a hook shot or two. Big Ben is only 6'9-6'10 and he played as a great center. (At least until he was traded to Cleveland, and started as a PF)Joel is 6'10 and he is capable of playing the Center position.

I thought he was one of the Defensive players from D-League? They should have waived Powell instead of this dude.

Wade seemed to back off his recent push for Riley to make an immediate roster upgrade.

"He'll deal with that," he said. "I'll deal with making sure our teammates are ready no matter who is here."

I wish all the luck for Lasme. And I did wish that with his blocking and rebounding? Geez, I wish he was 7'0 feet.

I think Aheran will be gone by the season starting. I hope so! But, as much as I think waiving Lasme over Ahearn is dumb, you havta look at out PF roster:

Beasley/Haslem/Anthony/Lasme/Marion*

With Management sayign they are training Anthony(Joel) as a defensive PF, not C, we had to waive one of them to help that along. Also, Anthony shows more promise IMO.

In addition, we need to make room for better, wiser signings such as signing Quinny, maybe(hopefully) getting Shaun Livingston, and eventually getting Zo to return if he does.

Well, assuming we waive(or send to DLeague): Powell, Ahearn our roster will be:

PG) Banks, Chalmers, Quinn, Livingston?
SG) Wade, Cook, Diawara
SF) Marion, Jones, Wright
PF) Beasley, Haslem, Anthony
C) Blount, Magloire, Zo?

The HEAT will make a "Flashy" return to NBA glory.

First thing. Why is Blount still on the team? Are we sure Livingston will be 100% coming off his injuries? Diawara damn sure was not a good pick up. Chances are Zo is not going to return. Lord knows we all would love to see Zo come back. No other player brings the energy he does and gives 100% every night he plays, but with the injury he had at his age is not an easy thing to bounce back from, remember, he isn't 20 or even 30 anymore and isn't Beasley a Small Forward and not a Power Forward? I could be wrong, just a few questions I had.

Blount is still here cuz no one will take his contract and its still illegal to kill someone in the 50 states, Zo is making every effort to come back and has already confirmed that if he can get his body right that he will come back, and Beasley is a PF, the Heat said they may eventually slide him to the SF spot but for now he should be the PF.

nobody really would take blounts contract other than cleveland i believe, and we would take ben wallace in return, but we would have to add other fillers to make that happen and idk if we have the right fillers to offer

Lasme was originally the 46th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors for whom he appeared in one game last season before being waived on Nov. 17.

NOW WE HAVE ROOM FOR LIVINGSTON AND ZO OR QUINN
I think ZO might return.

EUROPE! is the answer to Blount if you want to get rid of him. Sell him to a European team and it will be perfect during the Heat exhibition in London. Make him pack all his stuff so he'll just stay there for good. kiddin. Fake Smile
