Hey just passing through because the Heat drafted Razorback P-Bev and I was checking the mood of the Heat fans about that pickup. THE HEAT ARE GETTING "JANNERO PARGO WITH LESS RANGE AND TREVOR ARIZA LIKE HUSTLE AND DEFENSE" which I will explain below. Also I'd be happy to answer any of your questions on P-Bev.

What I will tell you for starters is that Heat fans have themselves a HIGH ENERGY rookie who will not be out worked or our hustled. One on one Bev will blow by his man with a qick first step or pull up and nail the J if his man gives him room. He is an emotional player who will give you the highlight dunks and plays great D. Bev gets a lot of steals without having to cheat into passing lanes leaving his own man which (he has very long arms). His jumper needs work from NBA range but Ill bet he straightens that out before the Season the same way he worked on his handle before he went overseas to adapt to playing the point. The kid plays with fire every possesion and will not back down to anyone.

At The University Of Arkansas "Hustle Is Not An Option" and Bev will routinely put his body on the line for loose balls and get the crowd and his teamates fired up in the arena. For his size he was leading the SEC in rebounds for about half the season and was avereging a double double in that time span. The way he positions himself for rebounds is almost unreal as we were starting a 6-10 and a 7 footer but beverley seemed to have a nose for where the ball would come off the rim better than them both. P-Bev was the a late signee at Arkansas and was the best recruit unsigned when he signed with Arkansas. Although Sonny Weems (Denver Nuggets) was our most gifted player 6-6 about 230,, beverley was our most important player and the leader of the team in many ways. He wants to take the big shot and has the confidence he will make it.

THe biggest knock on Bev was his maturity but after a few pregnancy's, being kicked out of school, and having to go overseas alone he seems to have matured very quickly. Overall you may have gotten the second steal of the draft (including the Knicks 29th pic from FSU) and when u see this kid on the floor you will all see why. Last but not least the ceiling for this kid is sky high and his best days are ahead of him wearing a HEat uniform. I will be cheering for you guys this year. Woooo Pig Soooieee...... aNy Questions?????????????

thanks for the heads up...but I got to watch him play in Europe I know what he brings to the table, I saw him do some impressive things outrebounding bigs and taking it to the rim with force, he enjoys posterizing Bigs in Europe. Im hoping nothing but the best for him and very excited to see him play for the Heat.

Gerald Wallace and Amare to Miami in 2009-10 make it happen Riley!

Wow. IDK all the info, but the Heat's rookie info outside of the sport does not look so good. This kid has been kicked out of school and has gotten a few girls pregnant and Robert Dozier reportedly cheated on his SATs. Hopefully both of these two matured a lot, because we know Riles doesn't tolerate trouble off court.

The more I read about him the more I like him. I especially like the fact that he's played college ball and overseas ball and exceled in both. So he actually has a step up on some other rooks.

I really hope he's an instant impact player.

Actually he had the option to pay his own way for a year and re join the team this year. He chose to go overseas. I tink it all worked out for the best for him.

Well I hope both of our rookies mature and play well for the Heat next season, we will need more good talent.

he might have some skills, but my ? is why did we trade a future 2nd + cash. knowing we r over the cap,& there's a chance we might only carry 13 players into next season. 11 r already under contract, not 2 leave out the offer 2 moon & anthony. mayb we should have saved that pick 4 a sweeter trade,& signed head.now do u really think the 2 draft picks have a chance 2 make the team?also where's the $ 2 sign a free agent?
