Jamario was selected to participate in the 2008 Dunk Contest in New Orleans and placed 3rd. His best dunk for that contest wasn't even unleashed because he didn't make the second round. We need to get the word around. Jamario should be in the 2010 Dunk Contest in Dallas with Lebron.

From my personal experience, I watched Jamario play in Albany for the Patroons in the minor-leagues. I have seen him dunk over multiple players. The dude can fly, and the buzz around Toronto is what lead to him getting invited. I think we should start campaigning now.

I dunno, his dunks weren't brilliant, he can jump high but i'm not sure he's one of the top 10 dunkers in the nba.

I would want him back. He's a great, impressive dunker. Maybe not so powerful but truly a high-flyer.

The dunk contest has absolutely died for me. It's a joke now. I'm really hoping LeBron stays true to his word and does enter, and does bring some highflying NBA veterans with him as well. (I don't know if Jason Richardson still has it, but I'd love to see him back. He got cheated in his 3rd attempt at the contest.) This dunk contest is crap now that it has to be about the young guys in the league, so they make a name for themselves at the dunk contest. That's not where legends are born.

And who's fault is it that he didn't make the 2nd round? Come on now..

im gona say yes i do think we should help with getting the word out about jamario... he is a great dunker and im sure if he would have the opportunity to once again be a part of that he will try even harder second time around plus now his boy would be sitting on the sidelines watching him so there will be much more pressure .... d wade of course.... but yea moon will be a very important piece to this team so i think any possible chance of motivation he should take it, it only makes us look stronger as an organization....

I would like to see James White, he is flat out sick. The best dunker in NBA rigth now. (He was picked up by rockets) He does Windmills and Between the legs from the free throw line.

Then it will be interseting to see if James can do more then just jump ridiolusly high from one foot.

Thoses two would be sick in a dunk contest.

Nate and DH12 is some of the best dunker alltime but I would be fun to se some new dunkers.

There is always a rookie so I guesse it will be maybe DeRozan.

Then it would be fun to have a Heat player of course and the best of them are Moon

So Moon, James, DeRozan and White are my picks to the next Dunk Contest. (But I guess Nate will in it because he is the Champ)

I don't want to see Nate or Howard because their dunks overated, Howard comes out with a cape and throws the ball in the hoop gets a perfect...

Nate is short, reason he wins it....

D Wade,Jason Richardson,Jamario Moon and Lebron James would be a nice one.

Mr. O'neal :

2004- Brawl/ suspensions
2005- shoulder injury
2006- Knee injury
2007- Knee surgury
2008- returns to play but still isn't 100%

2009-2010 - JO is BACK

I wouldn't want Superman back, he's just using too many props that gives him extra points from the judges. Why not just show his dunking skills at the same old basket and at the same uniform. I would really really watch the dunk contest, if these guys are gonna play: Lebron James, Vince Carter, Nate Robinson (Of course, he's the defending champion), Josh Smith (Just don't do AGAIN the between the legs dunk, he might AGAIN fail)/Jamario Moon (Truly a high-flyer, but he gotta make some good moves though)/Beasley (Anyone? Some here gotta LOL on this, maybe some in here is a Beasley hater, why not just believe in him? He's got dunking skills, but not a high-flyer though).

How come D-Wade goes there? Yeah he's a dunker, but he doesn't have the skills of a great dunker. Seems to me he's dunks would be overrated.

------------------------------------

2009 Season priorities

*Earn a good playoff spot, which closely suggests at the 4th seed.

*Consistency

*WIN!

Howard is not a good dunker...Hes just big...that would be like shaq joining the contest...he doesnt have air or style in his dunks...their only real moves are the sledgehammer... The dunk contest is perfect for the 6'-6'6 ft range.. because they are the ones jumping up to hit that 10 ft rim and slammin it in...
but for the best slam dunk contest I would say...

contestant one-Vince Carter
Contestant two-Lebron James
(no nate cause he said he might not re-enter)
Contestant three- James White
Contestant Four-Jamario Moon

NOt to be rude but have you seend the dunk contest latley, and Howard. He got rob on year, won the next and barley lost last year. He is uniqe, its noooot like haivng Shaq. He deserves all his hype.

All i see is a big man that has to do a bunny hop to touch the rim do a trick and dunk a ball... Thats just me, but when you see a little guy get major air and slam that ball down its amazing (as long as he does a damn good trick move) Like Michael Jordan, some of those dunks...would it have been the same if he was 7'. No he got points for some because he got his head up to he rim and slammed it in.

I think dwights heights makes his dunks more impressive, especially when you see the amount of movement he gets in the air, For a guy his size that takes a lot!

For what? They'll all lose to LeBron. -___-

---------------------------------

"We wish Jordan were seven feet, but he isn't. There just wasn't a center available. What can you do? Jordan isn't going to turn this franchise around. I wouldn't ask him to. He's a very good offensive player, but not an overpowering offensive player." - Rod Thorn, then Bulls General Manager, after selecting Jordan with the third pick in the 1984 NBA draft.

I agree, the dunk contest has become a Joke, and I'm glad people like have realized that. Most fans are sucked into the performances like Dwight Howard. I think Jamario can bring back some originality to the dunk contest again.
