It probably doesn't matter but who should be our sixth man. We have a great bunch of role players in our bench.

Question:
So, who is our sixth man?

Choices:
James Jones
Mario Chalmers
Daequan Cook
Udonis Haslem (if he doesn't start)
Yakhouba Diawara
Other (state who is is)

Question:
Whoever you picked, do you think he has a chance to be sixth man of the year in the NBA?

Choices:
Yes, no doubt!
No, but he will be a great sixth man for the us!

I didn't vote but I would say a tie between Udonis Haslem, Mario Chalmers and James Jones. James Jones was great for Portland and having three people that are good enough to be a starter in your bench is definetely a luxury.

james jones has the potential to be a great 6th man this year. He may not be the best, but he'll provide a spark off the bench for this team.

i beleive haslem has the best shot to be 6th man of the year he can rebound score and defend more than most 6th men i think his only competition would be ginobili and gordon but he can put up more rebounds and blocked shots than them

i would go with jones cause he can score and defend but halsem would be a close second.

To Micael Jackson's Thriller
It's close to crunch time
and Antoine Walker's lurking beyond the arc
Under the spotlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream
But Walker takes the shot before you make it
You start to freeze
As the airball hits you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed

'Cause this is Antoine
Antoine's night
And no one's gonna stop him
From the brick about to strike
You know it's Antoine
Antoine's night
He's looking for his shot
Outside for 3 points
Antoine, yeah

By midseason, Mario should be starting, thus eliminating him form 6th man races. For us, it'll be James Jones. Haslem may start at Center Frowner, and even if he doesn't, James Jones offers ALOT.

*this is assuming both play off the bench*
Haslem offers:
Hard nosed defense
Rebounding
Occassional scoring mid range

Jones offers:
Good, pesky Defense
Shoots lights out, from 3 and deep two
Can drive the lane
Occassional rebounding
Athleticism and great off the ball movement

jones is our 6th man, but not the 6th man of the year

as long as we have wade there is almost no chance for him to start without wade being injured but he is a great off the bench talent

Haslem will be our best sixth man but if he starts then James Jones will be our best. I dont think either of them will win sixth man of the year awards but they will definately help us.

Are you saying that Haslem could be as good as Manu??? Please take off the homer goggles, even if its only for a couple minutes...

If you can't take the HEAT, get out of the kitchen.
