It likely won't happen because I doubt Riley is even going for him, but trust me. Whoever Amare ends up being traded to every Heat fan is gonna see the deal and be like wtf, we coulda done better than that....

The more this stretches out the more chances for a lopsided deal in our favor though. If Phx keeps rejecting offers and doesn't get rid of Amare during the summer and tries to get him to us (or any other team with an okay FO) at say the trade deadline, they will probably get raped.

But Rose =/= Beasley. Phoenix already has a PG for at least the next year, so Rose wasn't what they needed. They want someone to fill the void that Amare would leave, and Beasley is the only one who can fit that from Miami.

Fact is, to gain something you have to lose something. If that is Beasley, so be it.

Though I agree that their games can be similar at times, I just dont think Toronto gave Bosh/JO enough time to really blend. Bosh just like Amare is capable of playing a mid-range face up game.

I think the biggest reason why it didnt work was cuz Toronto would post Bosh instead of posting JO. If they would post JO and have Bosh cut or come off some screens n just basically let JO make decisions, the offense could have run more fluently.

Bosh postin up leaves JO far from the basket where all he can really do is shoot. If u reverse the roles Bosh can do a lot more faced up then JO can.

I dunno, maybe its the fact that I want Bosh here might cloud my opinion on the matter but I really think with Wade running the show and JO being the post up player then Bosh n JO fontcourt would not only work but dominate.
