I see all these topics concerning that Beasley was a waste and blah blah

Look, I know Beasley's numbers are not up to a 2nd pick but you have to understand something, he is on a team that features a superstar and the leading scorerof the league, is not the same case as Rose who is on a crap like Chicago(I sometimes think they lose on purpose because is incredible that with that many young players they still suck.....) and OJ Mayo is basically the man in Memphis...

I see this as more of a Spoelstra problem rather than a Beasley problem, remember ppl like....Trace Mcgrady, Jermaine O'Neal heck even Kobe Bryant who were on teams that already featured superstar(s) and is not the same weight to carry or the sam pressure of scoring or liberty if you will.....

So give him time ppl we are over .500 right now and I know he will get his minutes and his playing time and points very well,

Look this

Rose MPG 38.3 PPG 17.7 (6.2 APG though)

Mayo MPG 37.3 PPG 20.3

Beasley MPG 26 PPG 13.6

But my point is that Beasley dosen't face the same pressure Rose have and the liberty Mayo has

So take it easy....B-Easy

Going back to the top now, but in '10-'11 will be the dynasty in the making!! ???

I have no problem with Beasley... He plays 20 minutes a game and does all he can.

But one thing is certain. We need someone to backup Wade if he doesn't pour 35 points every game...

If Beasley isn't ready for that kind of role yet (judging by the way Spo plays him, he isn't) and the others most certainly aren't then we need to trade someone for a scorer. Simple as that...

Cause if you look it our boxscore Wade leads the way with 40 and watch this... COOK is second with 14! Come on man, this is Cook we're talking about.

I could of killed Cook that play last night where he threw it down to Beasley in the post than when Beasley kicked it back he shot a 3 from about 30feet away.

By the way Cook nickname should be Fire n Ice.

You know his numbers are not up to a 2nd pick?

HOW MANY MINUTES DOES HE PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY?

This board is just unbelievable at times. He is more than capable of helping Wade score. Do they even know what they want out of Beasley? I don't think so.

And of course this is a Erik Spo problem more than it is a Beasley one. The idiot has no idea what he's doing.

whats wrong with cook, he was the main scorer at ohio state, a sharp shooter, has good ball handling skills, hard nosed defender... i dont mind him comin off the bench and puttin up 15-20 and i think beasley will get better as the season progress, much like i told everyone Chalmers shot would get better, and his ability to run the offense... trust me yet again, Beasley will get there. The team isn't singling him out or putting him down for no reason. Hes getting better and better, and those who have a competitive nature strive to get better at everything. Look at Tracy McGrady, he was the 2nd man to VC, and now hes the main man where he is now... it takes that drive to be the best you can. If Beasley has that drive, he wont give up anytime soon.

Just so people can get this straight...

Beasley is averaging more min than Greg Oden(26.7mpg vs 22.2mpg) and many other top rookies. but rose and mayo have to really be the man right now for their team to win anything.

so stop crying about his play time, he played 6 min in the 4th quarter vs NJ... he gets his time you guys are seriously a bunch of freaking cry babies just RELAX!

ALSO, Miki its apparent your not watching Beasley very closely, if you think hes 1000% ready to be a starter you are insane. Wade has to talk with him every 2 plays because Beasley doesn't know how to move without the ball correctly, he is still learning what to do when hes not the main man... (I'm sure your gonna say, "Well wade is talking to him cause hes jealous and doesn't want his team taken away from him... blah blah blah" you'd be more crazy to even think that, wade has coached Chalmers and now Chalmers is doing well, hes doing the same for Beasley, he will get better and earn more minutes as the season goes on!)

Just look at the picture in my sig, its obvious wade totally hates Beasley's guts..

Hmm I think I meant that compared with other players that are 1st or 2nd picks and the expectartions(this kid was a beat in college) then maybe his number are not extremely high, he has pretty good numbers though I think I misquoted myself, sorry

Okay, to set the record straight. I wanted beasley to win ROY, just to prove he was the best out there. Unfortunately, the heat doesn't want to showcase him right away. Thus giving him a short leash every game. I admit that beasley seems lost at times, but I firmly believe that riley knows what the organization is doing. I've seen drastic improvements from beasley and moreover , the heat are winning. Statistically, Mike B is mediocre, but at least when he starts we all know we have a stud superstar partner along with wade.

To strictly beasley fans out there, don't worry once its all said and done, aint it sweeter for beasley to taste the playoffs before rose and mayo? Now that would be the greatest gift, aint it? And by that time, beasley already has gotten it figured out. Take note, the man hasn't hit his comfort zone and still produces decent stats.

Ok. So then the question is why isn't he getting 35 mins? lol.

(Yes, I know...he's a rookie and we got veterans who are getting time before him...blah blah)

b-easy has a knack for scoring, and its really not his problem. the heat are trying to accomplish something here, mold beasley into a complete player rather than developing just a chucker who knows how to score. we all know beasley's talent, its just that there are holes to be filled. right now haslem is a better rebounder and defender and thats whats needed in the starting lineup. don't worry talent will eventually win over seniority.
