The odds of us doing anything right now are very slim

I keep reading how the young players will be that much better from being fresh off the "Riley Camp". This is the same camp that works the players so hard, they have NO legs left for the games. These are the same shooting coaches who cannot teach our team to make their shots or a decent free throw. With no summer league to play in, they cannot even use what they are being taught to gel as a team and get better. They will only know a summer of scrimmaging EACH OTHER. This is going to leave them unprepared in any way for preseason. With half of them nursing an injury from being overworked. And I am reading here how we are going to move up and get one of the home court seeds? This observation is NOT based on reality.

wow man...You are really pessimistic. I have never seen a post so full of negativity lol. You wouldn't last a day as a coach. You will probably be like Kevin Garnett is gonna dunk it on our face, He is gonna block all our shots, and we will lose this game.

That made absolutley no sense whatsoever. But you are the complete opposite if he is a pessismist. You have Miami at the 4 seed in your thread, ahead of Atlanta, the team that beat us last year and made improvements and we stayed the same. Do the math.

Do the math, We went to a game 7 with our rookies and we lost 2 starters in game 7 plus Wade's back spasms. Joe Johnson would have never lighted us up like he did in game 7 because Moon would have kept him under control. Moon's long arms and athleticism would have kept him under control. WE LOST THE SERIES BECAUSE OF OUR INJURIES AND NOTHING ELSE. WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM.

justafan you say one move will solidify our team. Well what move is that? Who is it? And I don't mean in a perfect fantasy world of getting Lebron, but something actually palpable. What can we do at this point? Because its either Amare or Boozer, and the Suns seem to want to trade with GS and Booze just opted in to his contract. So WHO do you wanna go get?

Why do you shoot so many three's?
Cuz there arn't any four's.

If we were the better team, we wouldv'e had homecourt advantage in that playoff series. If we were the better team we would have won game 4, when we were healthy and at home to lead 3-1. Moon keeping Joe Johnson under control? The Celtics had trouble doing that 2 years ago, Moon is not Tayshaun Prince. That team was overall a better team than us, Wade carried us all last season, they got their wins through solid team play.

Thats because we didn't get a C until 2 months b4 the playoffs started, we maybe could of got the 4th seed. In Game 7 Moon, Head, O'neal, Wade, was injured. All we had leading the team was rookies. O yea did i 4get that James Jones hasn't recovered 100% from his injury. And Dorell Wright was injured. We have 6 palyers not 100%. Thats why we got beat. And u know wut happened when ATL played Cleveland? They got injured.

No, PHX is arg'n ( Angry ) with GS. PHX want Biedrins, Marco AND Stephen Curry. GS won't take that. We could solve this prob and trade for Amare.

Although Washington made trades, they are not much better than we are. They just added scorers to a team that already had scorers. There are no low post threat nor is there any defensive threats so the Wiz are not better than we are. Neither are the Bulls, Gordon was their clutch. The Pistons don't even have a head coach! Stop freaking out about Det, this team got a bit better but with no coach and without playing together they have a myriad of things to sort out. That leaves the Hawks and the Sixers. Atl get a bit better but we should be able to compete with Philly. These teams are improving but they are not, like someone already said, head and shoulders above us. it will all depend on injuries, chemistry and how things pan out throughout the course of the season. No need to freak out however...

If we were fully 100% for all 7 games, then yes we couldv'e beat them. But we weren't and had a great oppurtunity to lead the series 3-1 to send it back to Atlanta, and we got thrashed on our homecourt when we were healthy.

Dorrel Wright was injured the whole year, therefore you cannot throw him in there as being a factor in that series. Same goes for Head, we got him like a month before the playoffs, what factor would he have been? Our only legit excuse is Jermaine's concussion and Wade's back. It ends there.

OK, well what could we give Phx that they would like for Amare? UD Jones Cook, and a pick? To have Amare for one year and run the risk of losing him next year and not resigning with us?

I think Riles is playing for 2010. We open up a lot of cap space after this year so we can do a lot of things. The only problem is wade waiting another year and Riley trying to keep him happy.

Yea, remem when Shaq got traded to the Suns. That didn't work out. Or when AI got traded to the Pistons, that didn't work out either.
