If Chalmers can show that he should be the starting pg i dont care what he does off the court as long as it doesnt affect the team.

i think this was a setback for him, i think regardless if he did it or not, marcus banks was going to start anyways. but this may prolong wen chalmers was gonna get the go ahead to start

he said in a video he was happy with the progress of the rookies, i remember watching the video, i think he was in beijing wen they showed it, but he never flat out stated chalmers as starter...and im sure wade gets wind of wat management plans to do before they do it.

Whats all this hype going on...we're heat fans, not convicted NBA player rapists! Most sports have some sort of player who have taken drugs before. Are we perfect? no...is Mario perfect? no. As stated above, it was pot ,not dead babies. Now if Mario was a consistent drug abuser, then that would be different.

Anyways...I didn't vote on the poll. I'd like to see Quinn/Banks start to game, and give mario big time minutes until mid-season. If he is playing well enough, then we can let him start instead.

i would start banks, but i still think that mario will still get the job by the end of the season.

I really believe Riley will make some kind of trade for a PG. Not a star, but a Delonte West type. Even if this drug thing had never happened.

Let's be real here, Chalmers shined against who? You guys on here love the young players who have proved nothing. Like people used to be in love with Dorrell, now most have turned against him.

I see this love affair with Chalmers as a knock against Banks. How can a second round pick be competing with a vet for a starting job. Based on what rookie league? If D Wade is talking him up, Bank must be 2nd string material, not starting material

Chalmers looks like a drug abuser. You can tell when someones a drug abuser by certain things. Like Chalmers has a sort of darkness, almost like bags under his eyes, and he just looks unhealthy. I mean its just me saying it, but i never wanted Chalmers. I was all for Beasley... but not Chalmers.. The Heat dont need more problem causers they need more problem solvers.
And i thought people were saying Beasley might be the one to do bad stuff. Heh...

Id like to see Daequan Cook start as Point Guard. I know hes more of an SG and SF but, i like the way he played last season as PG. He was fairly productive. Hes a smart player, theirs no doubt in my mind. Banks to me is back-up material and not starter quality. The Heat have no starting quality Point Guards. Banks wasnt even a 2nd string in Phoenix. He was like 3rd...

I thinked J-Will shoulda been resigned... Hes going to kill on his new team with Davis. The clippers are shaping up to be a nasty fast-break team.
