According to Rotoworld and Kevin Mchale he has informed the press that Livingston will sign with the Heat. The reports are tha Livingston is unlikely to play this year but the Heat would get him ready for next year.

great we should let him keep working with tim grover for the 1st half of the season to get back to 100% then he can join the team, all we need now is to get a good centre next off-season and we going to be legit contenders if all works out. It cant get more official other than it being officially announced. Rotoworld is pretty accurate and Mchale the GM has been working to sign him an was informed he would sign with the Heat. Great addition.

Looks like all the teams he tried out for were not impressed by him cause other wise they could have signed him already. He still might be pretty messed up and not training camp ready.

He's not going to be ready to play until next year and this is after not even playing last year so I don't really care all that much about signing him. We have capable point guards.
