The reason I'm getting Live 09 is because I already got 2k8, and 2k9 will be no different. Live 09, on the other hand, will be a HUGE improvement from last years Live 08. There's one thing I dislike with Live 09 though, and that's how awkward the ball bounces on the rim.

LOL, Live 09 improved from Live 08 is still not even as good as 2K8 . God, the gameplay on Live is just horrible.

How in the world is MARK BLOUNT have a higher rating than players like James Jones and is not to far behind from UD?! Also, how come is Beasley only rated a 78? He is at least an 80-84 rating. In 2k9, they have him listed as an 83.

I've always bought NBA Live, but after comparing both... i'm definately switching and sticking to 2k from now on.

nba live and 2k has different ratings

First off who ever was playing for the Heat in that simulation sucked big time..but regardless don't waste your money on NBA LIVE that franchise is HORRIBLE at putting together a successful basketball series...2k SPORTS is the way to go, from the ratings to the game play and graphics, I will never buy LIVE again after the one they made with steve francis on the cover 2002 or sumthin..worst game ever made..

my brother got live 08 and it was horrible this looks just as bad, 2k from now on baby

theres one problem though, while i will agree that 2k8 was bad for ps3, it was flawless for xbox360... i had love 08 for my ps3 but will be getting 2k9 this year, they've fixed alot of their problems...much better than live now...
