The Heat remain interested in free agent point guard Shaun Livingston, but could end up signing forward Matt Walsh, according to Miami Herald.

The team had Walsh in for a workout last week. He played his college basketball at Florida. Walsh appeared in two games for the Heat in 2005 and has played in Europe the past two years.

I wondered what happened to him, he was pretty good playing at UF and I remember him playing for us a while back but I had no idea about what happened to him. Maybe he can be like Haslem. Like Haslem as far as didnt make the cut out of college, went overseas, got better and now is ready to contribute to a team. Not like Haslem as in skill set.

Thanks for the link, but question do you think that he would be a good fit for the heat or much better than what we have at the guard or SF?

Unless he has developed into a big PG and is ready for a fight for the PG position he has no chance in competing at any other spot for our team. Unless we make some moves of course, if we sign him or Livingston it should be a sure indicator of a trade because we are stacked at all positions other than the 5.

i just knew it was going too well...Miami ALWAYS have to do those stupid smokescreen tactics....Im not worried...They did this same thing with Beasley...making ppl believe they're not that interested when they really are.

Livingston will be in South Beach...i hope... Frowner

There's a big storm coming in Miami and the Heat is starting to hoard small forwards so they will not ran out. Who the heck is freakin Matt Walsh? Is this the only player the Heat can afford on the cap? Hot shooter? The Cybercoach's project? Maybe this is just a try out for the training camp and like a wait and see thing.

Its not that we want him over Livingston, its most likely either a smokescreen or it looks like Livingston has his eyes set on another team. Either way, we need to make a move and unload some players cuz we are stacked. I say make a trade where Marion and Banks are traded for a center and bring in Livingston.

Thats not a bad trade at all, They already have Camby and Marion can come in and play the 4 or even switch and have Thornton play the 4. They dont want Livingston and we do and they could use a defensive PG to back up Baron Davis

Hey check this out, there is this sight that gives you free money to bet on sports games with. They give you ten cents and you try to build your way up, and once you hit twenty dollars you can cash out. Some people have $800 in their accounts right now. I’ve already cashed out 70 dollars. No joke they make their money off of advertisement. Check it out
