Those are the exceptions and not the rules. You fail to mention the Grant Hills and Jay Williams of the world. And in Yao and Wade's cases can we really evaluate how sucessful their returns ahve been? And Amare has learnned to adapt with a nifty new 15 footer but imo his career probably has been shortened.

understood, but every rule has exceptions. whose to say ellis cant be one of those exceptions?
