OKC team settles on Thunder
Posted: Thursday August 28, 2008 06:55AM ET The wait is nearly over. Oklahoma City's NBA team is expected to announce Thunder as its nickname at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The franchise will announce the team name, its mark, the four team colors and logo at a press conference at Leadership Square. Team officials would neither confirm nor deny whether Thunder is the nickname. Thunder is a pretty lame name for a new NBA team but I guess they could not come up with a better name. THE HORRIBLE NBA REFS ARE THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF TODAY'S NBA |
