he needs to just shut up and just play, he needs to rebound well and pass well, because he's not going to have to be a wild scorer with all the scoring threats they have, and i sure HOPE wont be called upon to hit clutch shots, why with Kobe and Billups on the team, who did i miss, uhhh Wade, but i mean Lebron should on team USA show just how versatile he is and focus on making plays, crashing the boards, playing D, and letting offense come to him, cause you know it will and he can still score at will.

Call me the hater type but I wouldn't mind if he got cut all together! His game isn't suited for international play. He can't shoot. He has no post game (shocking for his size) so once the powerhouses sag off of him and play the zone NBA players are so afraid of, he will suck and the ball will beright back in the capable hands of melo. Lebron can pass and rebound well but seeing as how we have guys like tyson chandler and Jason Kidd on the team I don't think we need that much. We need defence and shooting. We have to have kidd starting because he is by far our best floor general which means we can't start bron or we have two guys who can't shoot to save their life! Team USA won't do this because Lebron can't afford the embarassment but they should cut his *** in favor of a guy like mike miller.

harsh but spot on. Team USA will lose if Lebron is the #1 leader. Its that simple. Dude just needs to focus on doing what he's best at, passing, and using his freakish athleticism to get some points in the paint. And dear god, please dont attempt any last second jump shots.
