I'll say the Yankees also, but I think the Cardinals will make it again.

I hope the Indians and Reds make it Wink (Obviously, the Reds have no chance in making it.)

LOL the Battle of the Colombuses

hey, i like the indians too...they got my boy CC in there throwing some heat!!!

the Cards?? dunno..their rotation is getting worse than it was last year and this year with the Cubs gaining some new power, they could have a tough time making the playoff.

Gary Sheffield does scare me a little bit there..and you still got Verlander. I'd say you guys could at least win the Central division.

The Central Division is going to come down to the Indians and Tigers. You saw what the Tigers did last year and they will compete again.

The Indians improved their bullpen(although Foulke retired on us), they have a great lineup, top to bottom. Their #9 hitter will be Josh Barfield. He hits .290 and 20homers and he hits 9th. The only thing to worry about them is their starting rotation. The only reliable starters are CC and Westbrook. Lee is shaky and Sowers is still young and you don't know what they could do.

If Daisuke has a huge impact and Hansen improves to be our reliever, I would think Boston would have a good shot.

Good luck to Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Delonte West, and Sebastian Telfair. I hope your careers go well with your new teams.

I reserve the right to change my mind between now and the end of the pre-season, but right now, I have the Tigers over the Mets.

Boston got more talents on the starting rotations than the Yankees..the problem is, Boston relievers stink( believe me..this is not a knock on your team but just the truth). And also, even though the rotation have monsster talent, there are just too many ifs on that rotation. Can Beckett rebound?? can Schilling and Wakefield stay healthy and have another good year in them?? can Papelbon be a great SP?? can Matsuzaka be dominant??..if 3 of those question ends up with the answer yes, then i think Boston have a good shot.

but i dunno...i say the Yankees and the Mets because i am a fan of them and I am a fan of NY Baseball. The Yankees are still the safest bet because they always made the playoff IMO.

cool..what do you think about the Mets rotation?? do you think that rotation is good enough to help you guys win the NL East??

or do you think Minaya is gonna get another SP like let's say trade fore Livan hernandez or maybe carl Pavano(lol)??

I think the Phillies will win the East, but with the NL Central and NL West not being that good, I think the Mets will get the Wild Card and advance through the National League because of their bullpen.

I would love to bring in Livan Hernandez, but with Arizona having starters such as reigning Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb and Randy Johnson, I think the D-Backs can win the West, so I don't see Arizona trading Livan. But if Arizona should falter, then it is a different story. Fortunately, the Mets are so far under the luxury tax threshold that owner Fred Wilpon will likely approve additional payroll during the season, something they didn't need to do last year because of the way they dominated the regular season.

I don't see the Marlins gaining on the Mets, Phillies, or Braves. Also, who is closing for the Marlins?
