What? 2k8? Please...I have ps2 and I got 2k8 last Sunday, I returned it this past Sunday and got live 2008. 2K8 is horrible. The gameplay is atrocious. 2K8 used to be better than live but they messed up bad this year. Why would you use the joystick to shoot. You can't crossover people, its just a bad game.

NBA Live games on the PC always stink it up for me. As much as I like to play it, my laptop just keeps auto-restarting or auto-shutdown (used to be hang the entire laptop) every once in a while when I'm in the middle of a game. I don't know whether the problem's with the game or with my laptop cos I used to play NBA Live 06 on my XBOX (it's spoilt now) and it was alright until I overplayed it.

Sucks that there's no NBA 2K series for the PC.

i got 2k8 for the xbox 360 and its tight. I haven't tried live 08 yet though.

Playing Live feels like you're controlling robots and it feels stiff, laggy and uncomfortable. 2K8 gameplay is much more fluid and the graphics are good.

And even if the graphics aren't better than Live, why choose Live just because of slightly better graphics?
